YSAI stands for Yayasan Syabakah Amal Islami which translates to Foundation for Islamic Business Network. YSAI is driven by a mission to bring economic and social empowerment to women, children and youth from the weaker and marginalised sections of the society.

YSAI is funded by CSR allocations of PT IBF Net Indonesia, which is licensed as a provider of non-formal education and ecommerce services.

YSAI aims to bring about economic empowerment through various forms of intervention that includes capacity building, financial and business development support using a participatory approach. It undertakes rigorous research before any strategic action.

YSAI has a lean and efficient team with excellent research capabilities. It heavily depends on volunteers during the implementation phase of its interventions.
